Based in the centre of Brisbane city, we are passionate about sharing our love for making good coffee. By providing different classes with increasing levels, we ensure that all participants receive the appropriate training to up skill. The course is set up in the real café scene, with practical “ hands on “ learning, and sharing of our industry experiences. The course is designed to share industry knowledge and solutions to assist students in preparing the first steps in working in a café.
Courses
Learn it.
Barista basic course offers the foundation of coffee knowledge. Students will learn the history of coffee, bean processing as well as roasting and blending. Also to further understand how to operate an espresso machine, the grinding & brewing method as well as extraction and preparation of milk & service skills, final presentation and sensory technology.
Build it.
Advanced level focuses on operating in the practical espresso stations, learning about grinders, grinder and espresso machines adjustment, extraction, and pulling the perfect espresso shot. Students will learn about steaming and texturing milk as well as getting “hands-on” experience preparing different types of coffee in he correct presentation.
Dream it.
Latte Art playground is a course is designed to be a hands-on practical experience, by teaching the art of texturing silky milk consistently, and perfecting the pour method to create visually appealing art in a cup. Providing small classes offer plenty of practice time. This course is best for beginner baristas and hospitality staff wanting to step up their barista skill to another level.
Craft it.
If you’re interested in non-espresso brew methods like pour over, Aeropress and cold brew, this brewing training course is the ideal starting point. Learn simple and effective recipes, how to adjust brewing variables and practice repeatable techniques, suitable for home and professional industry baristas.
